Marie Strømberg, Laboratory Technician

I started to work at Intertek as an apprentice in 2014. The first year of the apprenticeship I had my training in the Petroleum lab, and the second year in the GC lab. After 2 years as an apprentice in the company, I received my certificate as a Laboratory Technician. In 2017 I got a permanent position in the Process lab where I’m still working today.

Jeanette Cedergren, Laboratory Technician Cargo / Analytical Assessment / Agricultural Services

My colleagues and I make a team consisting of eight people located at the Esso Refinery, Slagen, Tønsberg. We work as independent 3rd party contractors and do both quality and quantity work linked up to products that Esso is either buying to process further or selling as final refined products.

Ole Øiestad, Metering Specialist

Intertek West Lab, Dept Calibration provides calibration service for prover loops and meters for fiscal purposes. This is a regulation requirement for oil producers providing traceability for all instruments used for hydrocarbon sales. We also provide fault-finding and troubleshooting services when needed. We transport our traceable equipment (10 tons) to the work site (onshore and offshore) on a yearly schedule. Another specialty is our onshore flow lab which is used to calibrate customer meters with simulated operational conditions.

Christoffer Enge, Operations & QHSE Manager North Sea, Finland & Baltics Area

I am responsible for the day-to-day operations of our department. Our team in Sandefjord consists of three different departments; Operations, Sales and Finance. We also have the Regional Director for the North Sea Region in our office.
